Grandfather

I finally got the latest on what's happening with my Grandfather. My Dad got to go and see him in the hospital after work. It seems as though no one was there when my Grandfather talked to the doctor. So all anyone knows is what Grandpa told them, which isn't much since the man is just not a talker. What do we know? That he is getting out of the hospital tomorrow. Hooray! He will have some blood thinner medication to take for a while. And that the ultrasound they did on his heart came back good. It was all that extra fluid in his body that was pressing on his heart and making him go into "failure". You could compare it to diving and how the water pressure squeezes you the further you dive down. My Dad said he was looking much better. He was up and walking around and generally behaving as usual. So he must be feeling well. We can all only hope that he will not have any set backs and that this is not something that is going to have repeats. Thank you all for your kind words and positive thoughts!

Karmah -
Sorry to hear about your grandfather too! Mine is 87 and not ready to let him go either - He's an old country grandpa you know - and I love him dearly!!! I wish your grandfather a speedy recovery! Take Care!

Well glad to hear it seems to be sorted out! Now you just have to keep him going to the doc when he needs to.. whether he 'needs' to or not!
